Professional Career

October 2008: Nothegger Transport Logistik GmbH (1000 employees)

Head of software developement

My largest project was developing a fleet management system which included position tracking of over 800 trucks + 250 containers, analysing the data, providing an methode to send routes from the headquarters to the navigation systems installed in the trucks, expanding the navigation systems in order to meet our requirements, transferring scanned mission documents from the trucks to our servers in the headquarters, back office software for querying these documents, etc.
I also programmed several smaller tools and a company wide internal platform for various tasks.
It didn't took too long and I was also responsible for building a modern company wide network structure and implementing a monitoring platform for our network and servers with Nagios.
